We only added Romi Rain to Barelist this year, and she has already become extremely popular with the visitors of the site. | What was your first (non porn) job?
I grew up in the city where everyone had a job asap so I started as a hostess at a Chili’s when I was 15, scooped ice cream at Friendly’s (an east coast chain) at 16, waited tables, worked at Guess, when I was 18 (and moved to LA) I worked at the Roosevelt Hotel. I started exotic dancing at 19 (my favorite job before porn), glamour modeled here and there, then at 21 worked bottle service in LA and Vegas. …I’ve had many jobs before porn. ;) All great learning experiences though, you learn a lot about people and yourself, I’d like to think I have a good work ethic, I’ve actually never been fired from a job either! :D
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
I’ve honestly always been wildly curious about the adult industry, so my journey was more of a progression over a four year span. Glamour modeling, trade shows, exotic dancing, nude modeling, web caming, solo sex scenes, girl on girl sex scenes…then the rest is hardcore history! I love sexuality, it’s beautiful, natural, and the ‘funnest’ thing ever. Often once I do something, and I like it, I just want to do it again and again, more and more, better and better. ;D
How do your friends and family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
My best friend knew I was thinking about it months before I took the dive. She’s amazing, a true friend who always knew about my…err ‘flair for the sexual’, and never once judged me…she LOVES all my stories now, haha. My mom’s stuck with me so she came around, haha.
Is there anybody special in your life? Or are you looking for somebody at the moment? If so, what do you look for?
I’m single, not exactly “looking” though, I prefer things to happen organically. I’m all about chemistry, verbal as much as sexual. I love wit, and a sense of humor, that knocks my socks off, and if you’re aggressive and passionate in bed…come my way! No lines though, I HATE being ‘hit on’, a reason I hardly ever go to bars and clubs. I like my women with big smiles and beautiful hair, I love my men tall with broad shoulders, extra points if you dance…and anyone who looks me in the eyes, straight through me, that turns me on. >:)
Do you prefer video or photo shoots?
Both for different reasons. I’m a sucker for a pretty picture, I can appreciate good angles and nice lighting and really like when time and effort is put into a sexy image of a naked lady. ;) But! I think I look better on video though…plus on video is when the sex happens, and I love when ‘the sex’ happens. ;)
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?
I love my legs, they’re easily muscular, long, strong, (and down to get the friction on?). I get a surprising amount of compliments on my calves, and feet! lol My hair is long and healthy too which makes me happy. I was never huge on my ‘chipmunk cheeks’ but I get them from my mama, I wish my ass was a little bigger too but I’ve recently had to make peace with that. (Probably a reason I’m a sucker for nice butts!)
What is your favorite sex toy?
Anything that vibrates. :D
Do you exercise on a regular basis? What kind?
I try to! I’m a big fan of Pilates and Spinning, sex is a great full body work out when I can’t get to the gym…one of the many reasons why my job works so well for me right now. ^_^
Where did you go on your last vacation (not work related)?
I love “stay-cations”, like just getting a nice hotel room for a few days every so often not too far away and order room service and spend the day at the spa to recharge. I go to San Diego and Vegas (not to gamble) every other month to unwind. I visit my hometown of Boston twice a year too, I went to Hawaii for two weeks last summer and didn’t want to leave! The warm tropical weather is magic to me.
Do you have any pets?
I’ve have two rescue kitty cats for the past 6 years, brother and sister from the same litter, couldn’t bear to separate them. I’m such a sucker for homeless animals in cages, I need to be torn away or I’ll adopt them all! For a while I was fostering puppies and kittens until they found homes. No time for that anymore. I’d love to have a dog again one day (I grew up around German Sheppards, Bull Mastiffs and Rotts), but I’d need a lot of free time for proper training and a big yard to feel right about it.
Do you have a guilty pleasure TV show? Song?
TV and music in general are two of my guilty pleasures, as long as the show or song doesn’t suck, I’m sold. I’m not ashamed to admit I still dance in front of my mirror to anything that pumps me up. ;P
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Depending on where I am and what I’m doing it’s between red wine, Lemon Drop’s, Kamikaze’s, Vodka Cran/RedBull.
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
Guess or True Religion. Shoes…gosh, I love shoes…D&G, Christian Loubotin, Jimmy Choo, Micheal Kors….
Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
Well anyone who follows me on Twitter knows how much I love movies and good TV so I destroy anyone at movie trivia at parties! I’m pretty handy too (no pun intended), I like to put things together. Learning how to cook more and more as well, I’m Italian, so being a foodie is in my blood.
Do you have any special talents?
I’m still really good at first person shooter and driving video games, played those a lot when I was younger. I play a good game of darts, and have a memory like a steel trap (if I’m paying attention) so I remember most conversations verbatim…some people don’t like that, haha.
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of Romi Rain...
If it’s a rare full day off, I still get up pretty early, usually before 9AM, work out, get some sunshine (I love the outdoors), call friends, errands, shopping, dinner (out hopefully), then movies/tv and a glass of wine sounds amazing…if passionate sex is added to the mix, to me that’s an amazing day. I’m pretty low-key in my everyday life. I like the simple things and creature comforts.
