Although Barelist has not even been around for three years, we have pretty good memories of our favorite stars of the 90s and 2000s. We thought an interesting article would be to show some of our favorite adult models and pornstars of the last decade and their modern day counterparts. Only one of the models listed here is not still actively shooting as of today. We are happy to see these models having such strong and long lasting careers, and are excited to see how the new class of stars can evolve the adult entertainment industry. | | Devon and BiBi Jones | | When I first saw Bibi Jones (at the time going by Britney Beth), I was instantly reminded of Devon. After doing just one scene, Bibi was already being fought over by just about every major studio. When the dust settled, Bibi had joined up with Digital Playground to be one of their contract stars. Devon had a similar situation happen as well, with securing a contract with Vivid before releasing her first scene. From there a star was born, and Devon was and still is one of the most famous women to ever be in the adult industry. Bibi's career has already exploded, and should get even bigger if she continues on the same course. | | | Besides both Devon and Bibi Jones following similar career paths, they have other similarities as well. Both are hot blondes with amazing bodies and stunning smiles. They both also do a nice mix of hardcore and softcore glamour style shoots. Devon and Bibi also entered the adult entertainment business at fairly young ages as well. |

| | Jenna Jameson and Samantha Saint | | Ok so Jenna Jameson is the most recognized women to ever be in the adult entertainment industry, and so comparing her to any other adult star is kind of unfair. I'm not really comparing Samantha Saint to Jenna in terms of how their careers will mirror each other, but more in the sense that Samantha just reminds me of Jenna. Before Jenna really did anything in adult, she was signed on as a contract star with Wicked. Samantha on the other hand, has done work for mainly adult websites, which might just be the major means of distributing adult content in today's market... so no real parallels can be drawn there. | | | I do however think the thing that made Jenna stick out in the 90s was her extremely unique and classic look, which Samantha shares. Even on Barelist there are over 10,000 models, but when I first saw Samantha in a set, I knew she would be huge. Her look just had the quality to it that just made you pay attention when she is featured in a photo shoot. Now in today's market, it's pretty much impossible to be as big as Jenna was in her day. Jenna performed in a time when pornstars were pretty limited, and the only girls who gained much fame were the top tier models who had studio contracts. Today there are endless choices of models available with a single mouse click. If it were possible to be such a huge star today, Samantha would be our bet though. |

| | Jenna Haze and Tori Black | | This might be a slightly strange comparison... since Jenna Haze is really in the prime of her career and Tori Black isn't exactly new to the world of porn. For some reason I feel like Jenna and Tori really complement each other and I really see Jenna as being a slightly more mature version of Tori. They both do shoots for just about every large film and online production company, and will always be the headliner of any title they are involved in. Also both have extremely innocent looks to them, but are also very dirty when they need to be. | | | The main difference between Jenna and Tori is their height, but apart from that there are a ton of similarities. Both Jenna and Tori are very skinny brunettes with nice sets of perky B cups. Both women also do mainly hardcore scenes, and are known for doing a lot of interracial scenes as well. |

Zdenka was huge in the late 90s and early 2000s, while Jana really started making waves in the mid 2000s up until today. Both women are drop dead Czech beauties who mainly do glamour style photo shoots, having also both appeared in Penthouse as Pet's of the Month. | | | Besides both being from the Czech Republic, both Zdenka and Jana are just drop dead gorgeous blondes. There are maybe a handful of women to ever be photographed nude, who can even be compared to Zdenka and Jana in pure beauty. | | Charlie Laine and Dani Daniels | | Charlie Laine might be one of the cutest adult models we have ever seen, so it's a great compliment to Dani Daniels when we were instantly reminded of Charlie after seeing her first photo shoot. Although Charlie and Dani do not have extremely similar body types, their overall looks are very similar in our opinion. Both have that girl next door look, with a very sultry sexy side as well. | | | Charlie and Dani both do not do any hardcore scenes, and focus mainly on their glamour photo shoots and some lesbian scenes as well. Both have made the rounds and shot for most of the top adult photographers and glamour sites as well. |
