| What was your first job?
I was the Visual Director for Forever 21, Macys, Bloomingdales in New York City from 2004-2008
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
In 2005, I told my college drawing teacher to fuck off, walked out, went home and shot a series of nude self portraits for SuicideGirls.com and it just kind of took off from there
How does your family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
They're not particularly thrilled, but we don't discuss it really.
If you had not joined the adult industry, what do you think you would be doing now?

Do you get recognized in real life?
Yes, yesterday some cute girl spotted me on Hollywood Boulevard with no make up and a frumpy sweatshirt. Embarrassing!
Do you prefer video or photo shoots?
Video, because photos are obviously a limited medium thats appeal is based partially by your ability to "model" (whatever that means) and by how photogenic you are. It's a biased medium. It's mostly a lack luster illusion especially with photoshop, but with video, it's harder to disguise genuine character and is fluid. That was my overpriced art school degree talking.
Where is the most exotic location you have shot at?
I don't know how exotic it was, but I remember shooting in this beautiful mansion with Holly Randall in Malibu overlooking the ocean. That was a real amazing day.
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?
Favorite, boobs for sure. I got blessed with the boob gene and I have my father's eyes which I love. Least favorite would have to be my ass, or lack thereof rather.
Who is your favorite adult star (past or present)?
Savannah. She was the epitome of what a porn star is to me: beautiful, glamorous, scandalous, trouble, excessive, and tragic. One of her photographers gave me some film rolls of her that are really special to me. I'm partial to 90's porn in general though because it's focus was on the beauty of the female performer and not necessarily about how close you could zoom your camera into her orifices like it is now.
What is your favorite sex toy?
My imagination
What is the last book you read?
I read three books at once usually. Usually a textbook, nonfiction, and fiction. Right now I'm reading a Biochemistry book, David Lodge- Deaf Sentence, and Jenna Jameson's memoir because I feel guilty for never have read it!
What is your dream car?
I'm a New Yorker I don't drive!
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Vodka soda
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
I'm too petite to fit into jeans so I have to wear leggings all the time. I mostly wear Capezio ballet slippers 95% of the time but when I have to get fancy I have a fairly decent collection of Pleaser heels.
Do you have any special talents?
Semi-contortionist, abyss of nerdy knowledge, and being mouthy
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of Heather Joy...
I wake up around 7am, start making work calls around 9am yelling at people and annoying my bookers, answer emails, then i usually go to work. On a day off I usually sit in bed with a book and run errands.
