| What was your first job?
I was a telephone operator for a food delivery company. It was so exciting;p
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
I moved to Toronto from Cape Town, South Africa. I wanted to see the world and was studying to be a clinical psychologist. I applied for a scholarship to study in Toronto and I got it! I enjoyed my studies, but being a poor student wasn't really my style.
I stumbled across a job posting for webcam models on facebook. I didn't know what webcam models did, but I definitely noticed that the ad said I could earn thousands of dollars every week working from home!
I'm quite spontaneous and like to take risks, so I decided to apply. But the truth is I didn't know anything about the adult industry. The internet connection is really slow in South Africa. Most people who have the internet still use dial up. So teenagers don't discover porn on the internet like teenagers in North America.
I knew I would flirt with men on cam because I checked out the site and watched some of the models in free chat. But that was all I knew about being a webcam model.
I wasn't nervous when I started though. I'm not shy and I'm an exhibitionist. So I figured things out quickly and it was a huge rush knowing that I had fans from all over the world. Some guys saw me as the innocent college girl because I can play that role well. But I enjoyed all the fetish shows more. I couldn't believe men would want me to zoom my webcam to give them a closeup of my feet and then just tease them about my feet for an hour.
I remember I got dressed up in a sexy new lingerie set I bought that day and was surprised when my first guy in private asked to change into heels, black pantyhose, and a dress. I couldn't believe he wanted me to put more clothes on!
I was still studying psychology at that time and my studies were actually really useful for doing webcam shows. I started to research more about fetishes and even signed up for a course on human sexuality when the new semester started.

I decided to do my own site for a few reasons. I didn't know anyone in the industry in Toronto, so it wasn't like I could phone up someone to help me. But I'm also a control freak and I wanted my site to be a reflection of me. A stranger would never be able to do that.
It has been difficult to learn about web design, marketing, and all sorts of things I never thought I would be doing. But I don't regret it for a second. In fact I applied to graduate school to do my Ph.D in clinical psychology and was accepted. But I decided that I wanted to run my site full time and be a Professional Dominatrix instead.
How does your family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
My mother is very supportive. I was just showing her a few of the new blogs I'm working on today when I talked to her on skype. She also owns her own business and is looking for ideas for her new website! She said I looked pretty in the photos and that the design was nice and minimal. It was just a regular conversation, which might seem strange to people.
I've told some cousins but just tell the rest of my family that I'm a web designer. They wouldn't understand and would get worried for no reason. My friends are very supportive though and love hearing all the juicy stories.
What is your favorite sex toy?

New York for my birthday. It is my favourite city in the whole wide world! I've been so busy lately, so I really need a holiday. I'm going to Cancun in a month or 2 to escape the Canadian winter!

I've had people send me messages on twitter saying they saw me on the street, but were too shy to say hi. I don't bite, that hard;)
Do you have any pets?
I have a French Bulldog and a Devon Rex cat. I love them so much:)

What is the last book you read?
Thinking in pictures by Temple Grandin. Your readers might have seen the HBO documentary about Temple Grandin and her inspiring life even though she is Autistic. I've aways been interested in Autism and the way her brain works is amazing. She is anything but disabled.
Do you have a guilty pleasure tv show?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I know, it is shameful:/
What is your dream car?
I never got my Canadian drivers license because I refuse to drive in the ice and snow. But if I moved I would get a mini cooper.
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
A good glass of Chardonnay. I love wine and I'm always trying out different vintages.
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
Citizens of humanity skinny jeans in dark denim. I don't have a favourite brand of shoes, but they better have a 5-inch heel!
Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
I'm really into Pop-surrealism and I'm building my own little art collection. I'm not artistic myself, but I love modern art. Going to modern art museums is my favourite thing to do when I travel. I currently have 2 illustrations by Naoto Hattori. He definitely has an interesting inner world!
