My first job was managing a Gamestop.
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
I actually started webcamming first -- never doing hardcore shows, just talking to people and going topless. After almost a year of camming in August of 2013, I was scouted by AMA Worldwide and flew to Florida two days later to start shooting! My first shoot was on the 31st of August 2013.
How did you come up with your stage name?
My name was originally Daisy Haze from the phrase "Hazy Days". It actually didn't start as my stage name either...I was given the nickname because of all the weed I smoke and kept the name when I cammed. After starting adult film, I switched the name to Daisy Summers because of a former adult model who was also named Daisy Haze.
How do your friends and family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
No one really thinks it's a big deal. When I told my dad, he asked if I could introduce him to porn stars haha. I have a pretty laid back group of friends and family.
What does it take to make it in a tough industry like the adult business? What important lessons have you learned so far?
Honestly, just keep your wits about you, be yourself, stay humble, and don't take people so seriously. Also, for me, work always comes first.
Is there anybody special in your life? Or are you looking for somebody at the moment? If so, what do you look for?
Here's the thing, I don't do relationships. Relationships are messy and ...not me. I just want to be friends with people and if we happen to fuck then cool -- definitely not wifey material though. I like being around genuine people -- people with depth, honesty, passion, and curiosity. Oh and being a stoner and/or psychonaut is always a plus.
If you had not joined the adult industry, what do you think you would be doing now?
I'd be attending school full time. I'm currently working on my Masters in Biology along with working in the industry.
Do you get recognized in real life? Any funny stories?
I've been recognized a couple times -- once by a mob of high school boys who wanted to smoke with me...hahaha

The most exotic location...I wouldn't consider anywhere I've shot "exotic" necessarily, but I got to shoot on a boat once in the middle of the ocean and that was amazing!

Uh...I should, shouldn't I? I do yoga, but that's about it.

My last vacation was to Korea. I go there just about every year.

I have a ball python, but it stays with my dad.

It was a text on Hermetic Qabalah. I tend to read more non-fiction than fiction.

My guilty pleasure TV show is probably Xena...or Firefly...or something stupid like Regular Show or Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.

I don't drink. I prefer a nice blunt.

Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
I've played classical piano since I was about 5/6 and study jazz as well. It's one of my favourite past times.
What is something about you that not too many people know?
I love going to the shooting range, racing cars, surfing, snowboarding...I'm a huge adrenaline junkie.
Do you have any special talents?
Uh...I can speak in Korean, English, German, and Russian. Does that count?
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of Daisy Summers...
Every day starts off with a wake-and-bake. Usually I'll lay around for a good couple hours continuously baking and then I'm hanging out with friends, going on adventures, or playing video games. My life isn't too thrilling -- I plan on being a stony-surf-bum-hermit in a shack on the beach one day.
