Amber Sym is a stunning glamour model who we only added to Barelist is March, and has already become very popular on the site. | What was your first job?
I was 15 when I got my first job and that was walking door to door selling gutter helmets. Sounds weird but I was really good at it!
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
Playboy got me started back in 2009.
How do your friends and family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
I don't think my friends really care either way. If I call and say, "Hey I shot with Playboy again!" usually I get back something like, "Oh cool, I walked into the dead deer hangin in the cooler again!" (I have awesome friends!) As for family, some don't care, some think it's awesome, and the others.. eh. haha
If you had not joined the adult industry, what do you think you would be doing now?
I'd probably own a board/bike rental shop out on the beach and raise money to save the ocean. Now that's my retirement plan haha
Do you get recognized in real life? Any funny stories?
I've only gotten recognized a few times.
Do you prefer video or photo shoots?
I like them both! When you can shoot video and pictures at the same time it's even better because no time is wasted.
Where is the most exotic location you have shot at?
Most exotic location would probably be.. umm.. Travis Pastrana's room at Nitro City in Panama. Not too exotic, but it was one of the best!
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?
My favorite part of my body is probably my nails. I got some good nail beds! Haha! Least favorite is my knees, it's probably my least favorite part on anyone's body.
Who is your favorite adult star (past or present)?
I prefer to follow stars in the sky, not stars on earth.
What is your favorite sex toy?
A real person.
Do you exercise on a regular basis? What kind?
Not regularly anymore. When I do it's just basic workouts or yoga at home.
Where did you go on your last vacation (not work related)?
I don't remember the last time I was on a vacation where I didn't work.
Do you have any pets?
Sadly, no. I want a big dog but don't have a steady enough schedule to get one.
What is the last book you read?
The last book I read was The Emotional Life of Your Brain by Richard J Davidson
Do you have a guilty pleasure TV show? Song?
I have a thing for Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, and Prison Break... Sometimes I lose a whole day catching up on the new episodes on Netflix!
What is your dream car?
A Jeep Wrangler, lifted with big wheels. Not too hard to attain I just haven't gotten there yet.
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
BEER!
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
I'm not big on labels, I don't even know what I have in my closet! Anything comfortable and durable works for me.
Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
Goin out back hitting golf balls around. I've never played a full game but I have a mean swing!
Do you have any special talents?
I can turn my tongue into a clover? Not so much a talent just something weird.
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of Amber Sym...
Usually I wake up, hit the snooze button, wake up again, have some coffee while checking emails and the fan page on facebook. Then I'll reply to what needs to be replied to. Depending on what I have planned I'll prep for and then go to a modeling or acting job. If I don't have a gig set up I'm having meetings to set up other gigs. I pretty much work all day either on the computer, phone, or set. I'm kind of a workaholic and I like it.
